Mr. Stanton brings over 20 years of commercial real estate investment experience to the Company. For the past 11 years, Mr. Stanton has focused exclusively on GSA leased real estate investments. Mr. Stanton is directly responsible for the development and implementation of the Company’s corporate, investment and capitalization strategies.

Mr. Stanton’s previous experience includes co-founding HC Government Realty Trust (“HCGRT”), a federal government REIT, where he served as a Director and the Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Stanton was also the Founder and President of Holmwood Capital, the predecessor to HCGRT and Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer and President of Holmwood Capital Advisors, the external manager of HCGRT, where he was responsible for the development creation and implementation of the companies’ investment and capital structuring strategies. Collectively these entities acquired and managed 17 GSA leased properties representing more than $100 million.

Mr. Stanton previously co-founded U.S. Federal Properties Trust where he was responsible for developing and implementing the acquisition strategy of 19 GSA leased properties representing approximately $250 million. Prior to U.S. Federal Properties Trust, he co-founded SRS Investments, a private real estate investment firm where he oversaw all aspects of acquisition, capital structuring, and asset management of a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate investment properties.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Stanton has transacted on more than $1 billion of commercial real estate.

Mr. Stanton holds a BA degree from Rollins College and an MBA degree from Georgetown University.
